About Aaliyah
My love for hair began at a young age, but my dream of becoming a hairdresser was never realized. The industry at the time held a certain image, one I didn’t fit, so I spent years in a variety of jobs, never finding true satisfaction.
My lifelong fascination with hairpieces and wigs began in my teens. I was captivated by the freedom to change my style and colour instantly. Today, I remain passionate about how far wigs and hairpieces have evolved, offering such realistic looks that they are virtually undetectable.
In 2019, I underwent major surgery to remove a pancreatic tumour. The procedure resulted in the loss of my spleen, and my compromised immune system led to a diagnosis of alopecia. This experience gave me a deep understanding of the emotional toll of hair loss. I personally felt as though I had lost a significant part of my identity, and I connected with the struggles of family members who had lost their hair while battling cancer.
After my alopecia returned and I was recovering from a nervous breakdown, I realized I needed to take control of my life. I knew I wanted to help people, and I knew I had to work with hair. This realization led me to where I am today.
My goal is to help you navigate your own journey. Together, we can find a gorgeous hairstyle that restores your confidence and puts a smile back on your face.
